Like our first trip, we arrived in Paris and visited many famous buildings and museums. Then we drove to Brittany for a ferry ride that would drop us on the beautiful island "Belle Ile en mer" . We stayed there for one week, visiting and painting. We had the opportunity there to visit a local artist who invited us to paint with their friends.
We had lunch at the Auberge Ravoux in Auvers sur Oise. This was the B&B where Van Gogh stayed to paint until the last day of his life.
We stayed in a cute country inn in Champagne, close to the neighborhood were I grew up. I shared my favorite places to paint around village.

"I love reliving memories of our art class trip to France with the CD Christophe created for us. Our 10 day whirlwind of activity left me with a love for France and a desire to return. We toured the countryside and famous art museums and mingled with local artists while we painted .We had plenty of time for photography and many plein air art demos. Best of all he did all the planning for good hotels and restaurants. Even some home cooking and of course French wines!
Thanks again Christophe" .

"I could have stayed a month ... or a summer ... or a year! Your trip, which I
was fortunate to share, was much more that I anticipated. The thought
and effort you put into the planning of the trip allowed us to see and
experience many special sights and events. What a treat! I loved every
minute of it. Each and every spot was memorable and will remain so.
You are an amazing "tour guide". All wrapped into one: planner,
organizer, *bus* driver, photographer, historian, art guide, art
instructor, and even chef. I have been on tours before, and art tours,
and this one beats them all. I appreciate so much all you did for us, and
all the *surprises* planned and care given to give each of us a special
experience.
Being invited into your family's homes was special to me, making this
trip much more than a tour. They are lovely and gracious people and I
felt privileged to meet them. Like them, you are wonderful and kind.
One could say this was like a family trip, an art experience and a
cultural tour .. all wrapped up in one. Thank you so much for inviting me
to join this trip.
If you plan another, I must say I more than highly regard your sense of
responsibility, and your trustworthiness, as well as your skill at planning
a tour package.
Thanks a million, "
